The coaching relationship

Kallisthene provides individualized calisthenics coaching: programming, benchmarks, feedback and check-ins delivered through this portal and agreed messaging channels. The specific length, price and scope of your coaching are set out in the separate coaching agreement you receive when you start — that agreement, together with these terms, forms our contract.

Not medical advice — assumption of risk

Coaching involves physical exertion and carries inherent risk of injury. Kallisthene is a coach, not a doctor, and nothing provided is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. You should consult a physician before starting, especially if you have any injury, condition, or medical concern. You are responsible for training within your limits and stopping if something hurts. By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks and agree that you train at your own risk.

Your responsibilities

• Give honest, accurate information in your application and check-ins.
• Follow programming sensibly and within your own capacity.
• Tell your coach promptly about pain, injury or health changes.
• Keep your account credentials secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.
• Be 18 or older.

Payment, term and cancellation

Fees, billing schedule, term length and cancellation or refund terms are those stated in your coaching agreement. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Unless your agreement says otherwise, fees already paid for a started coaching period are non-refundable.

Intellectual property

Programs, materials, handbooks and content provided to you are for your personal use in your own training. Please don't copy, resell, or redistribute them. Results you log and videos you send remain yours; you grant Kallisthene permission to use them to coach you.

No guarantee of results

Fitness outcomes depend on many factors within your control. We coach in good faith and to a professional standard, but we can't and don't guarantee specific results.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kallisthene is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and total liability for any claim relating to the coaching is limited to the fees you paid for the coaching period in which the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending the relationship

Either of us may end the coaching in line with your agreement. We may suspend or end access for conduct that is abusive, unsafe, or in breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Questions: will@kallisthene.com.
