Who we are

Kallisthene provides online calisthenics coaching. For privacy questions or to exercise any right below, contact will@kallisthene.com.

Information we collect

When you apply and while we coach you, we collect:

• Contact & identity: name, email, WhatsApp/phone, Instagram handle, age and gender.
• Health & fitness information: your goals, training history, injuries or pain, any medical considerations you share, height/weight, and the benchmark and workout results you log. You choose what to share — but this is how a program gets built safely.
• Coaching content: assignments, notes, messages, and any videos you send for review.
• Account & technical: sign-in details handled by our authentication provider, and standard server logs.

We do not collect payment card numbers ourselves — if you pay for coaching, that is handled by a payment processor (see below).

Sensitive (health) information

Injury, pain and medical details are sensitive. We ask for them only to coach you safely, we store them for that purpose, and the application form asks for your explicit consent before you submit them. You can ask us to correct or delete them at any time. This is coaching information, not a medical record, and nothing we provide is medical advice or a substitute for a doctor.

How we use it

• To assess your application and decide if coaching is a fit.
• To design, deliver and adjust your program.
• To communicate with you about your coaching.
• To operate, secure and improve the portal.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run the business, under agreements that limit them to that purpose:

• Clerk — Account sign-in and authentication.
• Neon — Database hosting (your account and training data).
• Vercel — Website and application hosting.
• Calendly — Scheduling coaching calls.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — Messaging and coaching video review.
• Stripe — Payment processing (if/when you take payment).

We may also disclose information if required by law. If you message us or send videos over WhatsApp, that content is also handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you're a client and for a reasonable period afterward for our records and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see your rights).

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop using it, by emailing will@kallisthene.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR; we'll honor those that apply.

Security

Access to the portal requires signing in, data is encrypted in transit, and coaching records are restricted to you and your coach. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Coaching is for adults. The application form is for people 18 and over, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated to active clients.
